Most residential garage floors are completed in one to two days. Day one involves surface preparation — diamond grinding and patching any cracks — along with the base coat. Day two we apply the broadcast layer or metallic coat plus the polyaspartic topcoat sealer. Larger commercial projects are scoped individually. We walk you through the full timeline before we ever start.
Just clear the space of all vehicles, furniture, and stored items. We handle all the surface prep — grinding, cleaning, and crack repair — as part of the installation. If you have an existing paint or coating, let us know in advance so we can assess whether additional prep is needed.
Light foot traffic is safe at 24 hours. We recommend waiting 72 hours before driving vehicles onto the surface and 7 full days before placing heavy equipment or furniture. Cure times can vary slightly based on temperature and humidity — we'll give you exact guidance on the day of installation.
Yes — minor cracks and surface imperfections are repaired as part of our standard prep process using polyurea crack filler. Significant structural cracks, major spalling, or active moisture issues may require additional remediation before coating. We assess slab condition during the free estimate and recommend the right course of action.
